Equine-Assisted Learning Workshops

“Find a group of people who challenge and inspire you, spend a lot of time with them, and it will change your life.”

~ Amy Poehler

Workshops for Women

Find your tribe, dive into powerful self growth, and rediscover joy at our workshops for women at Liberty Lane Stables in Elkhorn, Wisconsin.

Wondering what you can expect from our workshops? Here’s what our past participants have to say.

“I haven't been around horses since I was a kid. But I have kept play a part of my adult life. I never thought combining the two things together would teach me so much.” ~ MJ

“From someone who has zero experiences with horses, I really enjoyed this workshop, and meeting the horses…..it helped me learn what roadblocks were preventing me from play and showed me how to overcome them.” ~ Karen Z.

“A great experience! The workshop made me think about how to live, and how to take things less seriously. And there were really good connections within the group and with the horses.” ~ Giselheid A.

2025 WORKSHOPS FOR WOMEN

Customized Personal and Professional Development Workshops

Support your employees, colleagues and clients with the power of equine-assisted learning. I’ve created customized workshops for Big Brothers Big Sisters, at-risk youth, and staff in the Milwaukee District Attorney’s office. Topics can include (but are certainly not limited to): Developing a growth mind set, practicing self compassion, healthy boundaries, emotional agility, resilience, teamwork, leadership, stress relief and mindfulness.

Wondering if equine-assisted learning is right for you?

The answer is yes! No horse or riding experience is necessary to participate in our workshops. All the activities we do with the horse will be done with our feet on the ground.

WHY HORSES?

  • Empathic and honest.

As prey and herd animals, horses are acutely aware of our emotional, mental and energetic states. They naturally perceive this information and immediately reflect it back to us, helping us to see ourselves more clearly.

  • Non-judgmental.

Horses see and accept us as we are, without judgment or bias. In turn, their acceptance of us provides us clarity about ourselves. This frees us to take on new challenges, with a greater recognition of what we are capable of achieving.

  • Always present.

Unlike humans, who are easily distracted by their own thoughts and emotions, horses live in the moment and can be with us 100%. They are excellent listeners.
