Self Compassion.

Calming our inner critic.

In our fast-paced and achievement-driven culture, we often place high expectations on ourselves and measure our worth based on our accomplishments. However, this relentless pressure can lead to anxiety, self doubt and burnout.

In this horse-guided workshop, we’ll explores ways to embrace the challenges of life while also giving ourselves grace when we fall short of our expectations.

While it may seem counterintuitive, research has shown that self-compassion actually leads to greater resilience, motivation and emotional well-being.

What is self compassion?

Simply put, it’s treating ourselves with kindness and understanding when we struggle. We acknowledge our difficulties and imperfections without self-judgment or harsh criticism.

Self-compassion is essential for our well-being:

  • It helps us cope with difficult emotions.

  • It enhances our self-esteem.

  • It fosters resilience.

  • It strengthens our relationships.

Imperfection is a natural, inescapable part of the human experience. We all make mistakes and experience setbacks – and these can be precious opportunities for growth and learning.

Make self-compassion a priority in your life and see how it can transform your relationship with yourself and others.

WHY HORSES?

Horses are powerful teachers. They help us see ourselves more clearly and show us how we can be better humans.

  • Horses are highly perceptive and they are always honest.  As prey and herd animals, horses are acutely aware of our emotional,  mental  and energetic states. They naturally perceive this information and immediately reflect it back to us, helping us to see ourselves more clearly.

  • Horses are unbiased and non-judgmental. Horses see and accept us exactly as we are, without judgment or bias. They challenge us to step up in a non-threatening way.

  • Horses live in the present moment. Unlike humans, who are easily distracted by their own thoughts and emotions horses live in the moment and can be with us 100%. They are excellent listeners.

And yes, you CAN do this. All activities with the horses during this workshop will be practiced on the ground. No riding or horse experience is necessary to benefit from this transformative experience.
