Healthy Boundaries
Don’t leave home without them.
We’ve all heard about healthy boundaries. And we know they are important. But what are they really?
Boundaries are the limits we set in order to protect our physical, emotional, and mental well-being. They help us create a safe space for ourselves, and communicate to others how we want to be treated.
Healthy boundaries help us:
Prioritize our own needs. When we know our limits and communicate them clearly, we are less likely to become over-committed, overwhelmed or resentful.
Create healthy relationships. By setting boundaries, we are able to communicate our expectations and needs. This builds trust and respect in our relationships.
Avoid toxic relationships. When we have clear boundaries, we are better able to recognize when someone is not respecting our limits. We can then make informed decisions about who we want to be in relationship with and who we need to distance ourselves from.
Consciously and confidently create the life we really want!
Setting healthy boundaries isn’t always easy. But it’s a lot harder to live without them.
And the benefits of having healthy boundaries are immense.
Increased self-esteem and confidence
Happier, more peaceful relationships
Less stress and anxiety
A greater sense of control and autonomy
Stronger communication skills
Better work-life balance
More emotional stability and well-being
Healthy boundaries are the foundation upon which we create an authentic life that is aligned with our purpose, values and goals.

WHY HORSES?
Horses are powerful teachers. They help us see ourselves more clearly and show us how we can be better humans.
Horses are highly perceptive and they are always honest. As prey and herd animals, horses are acutely aware of our emotional, mental and energetic states. They naturally perceive this information and immediately reflect it back to us, helping us to see ourselves more clearly.
Horses are unbiased and non-judgmental. Horses see and accept us exactly as we are, without judgment or bias. They challenge us to step up in a non-threatening way.
Horses live in the present moment. Unlike humans, who are easily distracted by their own thoughts and emotions horses live in the moment and can be with us 100%. They are excellent listeners.
And yes, you CAN do this. All activities with the horses during this workshop will be practiced on the ground. No riding or horse experience is necessary to benefit from this transformative experience.
