“The Little Mermaid” has taught me much, and I do believe she foreshadowed one of my most powerful lessons in this lifetime. If we give up our unique expression, our authenticity, our power to express ourselves bravely and clearly, not only do we lose ourselves, we lose our ability to do the work we came here to do. We relinquish our gifts. We go into hiding.
